2027 Student Concerto Competition

Take the Stage with the Parker Symphony Orchestra

The Parker Symphony Orchestra is proud to support the next generation of musicians through our Student Concerto Competition, offering exceptional high school musicians the opportunity to compete for the chance to perform as a featured soloist at our February 19, 2027 concert at the PACE Center in Parker, Colorado.

Students who perform on any orchestral or band instrument, as well as piano, are invited to prepare a concerto movement and audition before a panel of judges on Saturday, October 24th at Christ’s Episcopal Church in Castle Rock.

The winning musician will be selected based on artistic expression, technical proficiency, and overall performance. The first place winner will receive $2,000 as well as the opportunity to perform as a featured soloist with the Parker Symphony Orchestra during the February 19, 2027 performance. The second place winner will receive $1,000.

Important Note:
Musicians are responsible for providing their own accompanist and asked to provide three copies of the piece you are performing for the judges panel (photo copies will be accepted). The repertoire is subject to approval by the Parker Symphony Orchestra.
